About Me

I firmly believe that a career should be a passion. I have always had a love for teaching. From a young girl playing “school” with my friends, to a college student that loves to spend time in the classroom, my passion has not only stayed the same but grown stronger. Over the years I spent in the public school system, I had many teachers that impacted my life and molded me into the person I am today. I had teachers that helped me learn more about myself and teachers that encouraged me exactly when it was needed. The best teachers are the ones that get to know you not only as a student, but as a person and an individual. I aspire to be a role model, an encourager, and positively affect each and every child that comes into my future classroom.

Attending Auburn University has been an amazing experience for me. I have had professors that have taught me more than I ever thought I could learn in only a short semester. Being accepted into the College of Education at Auburn University was my first milestone towards receiving my bachelors degree and I am thrilled to continue my professional studies in the spring of 2016 at a university so close to my heart.
