I firmly believe that a career should be a passion. I have always had a love for teaching. From a young girl playing "school" with my friends, to a college student that loves to spend time in the classroom, my passion has not only stayed the same but grown stronger. Over the years I spent in the public school system, I had many teachers that impacted my life and molded me into the person I am today. I had teachers that helped me learn more about myself and teachers that encouraged me exactly when I needed it most. The best teachers are the ones that get to know you not only as a student, but as a person and an individual. I aspire to be a positive role model, an encourager and positively affect each and every child that comes into my future classroom.
Attending Auburn University has been an amazing experience for me. I have had professors that taught me more than I thought I was capable of learning in only a short semester. Being accepted into the College of Education at Auburn University wsa my first milestone toward recieving my bachelors degree, and I am thrilled to continue my professional studies at a university so close to my heart.
